40mph Speed Limit to be introduced in Tidworth

WILTSHIRE COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (A338 SALISBURY ROAD, TIDWORTH)
(40MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2016
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 11th October 2016 Wiltshire Council made the
above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of
which is to revoke The County of Wiltshire (A338, Tidworth) (De-Restricted Roads)
Order 2002 and introduce a 40mph speed limit on the following length of road:
A338 Salisbury Road – from a point 114 metres south of its junction with Church
Lane to a point 60 metres south of its junction with South Drive
A copy of the Order and plan may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council,
County Hall, Trowbridge during normal office hours.
Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order
or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the
powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any
requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation
made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order
may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for
the purpose to the High Court.
The Order will come into operation on 24th October 2016.
