The Cycle to Work Day takes place on 14 September 2016 and aims to encourage everyone to use two wheels instead of four and cycle to work for the day. Statistics show that the UK are getting more active on their bikes and using them to commute to work on a regular basis. But with the Cycle to Work Day it is hoped to get even more people travelling this way. There are three new bikes to be won and those who register to take part will also receive exclusive discounts from some top cycling brands. Cycle to Work Day also enjoys unilateral support from cycling advocacy groups such as British Cycling, Sustrans, the London Cycling Campaign, Cyclescheme, Cyclescheme Ireland the Bicycle Association, CTC – the national cycling charity, and Cycle Nation. Visit Cycle to Work Day www.cycletoworkday.org for details on how to register and pledge your miles cycled.
