ENFORD FILM CLUB SUMMER SEASON

“LION” Uplifting, heart wrenching, beautiful … Award winning ‘Lion’ is incredible. 

Based on a true story, five year old Saroo gets lost on a train in India travelling away from his home and family.  Frightened and bewildered somehow he survives living on the streets before ending up in an orphanage which is not exactly a safe haven.  Eventually Saroo is adopted by an Australian couple and finds love and security as he grows up in Hobart.  As an adult a chance meeting with some fellow Indians encourages Saroo to set out to find his lost family armed only with a handful of memories and unwavering determination.   Starring Nicole Kidman, David Wenham and Dev Patel.

Film Club is generally held on the 4th Tuesday of the month.

Doors open at 7.00 p.m. with the bar open until 7.30 p.m. when the film starts.  Tickets £5   Please book in advance if possible to help with the administration!

Lifts can be arranged for anyone who would like to come – so do let us know if you would like to be collected and taken home.
