Pedestrian Crossing (Change in Status) – Tidworth & Ludgershall

WILTSHIRE COUNCIL 

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 

PEDESTRIAN CROSSING – A342 ANDOVER ROAD, LUDGERSHALL 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Wiltshire Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes a change in status of the existing Pelican crossing in A342 Andover Road, Ludgershall at a point approximately 26 metres east of its junction with Rawlings Court, this crossing will now become a “PUFFIN” (Pedestrian User-Friendly Intelligent) Crossing, a form of traffic signal-controlled crossing.  Construction to implement this change will be carried out in due course.

A copy of the plan showing the location of the crossing may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Wiltshire Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes a change in status of the existing Zebra crossing in A338 Pennings Road, Tidworth at a point approximately 97 metres north of its junction with St Andrews Road outside of property No. 7 Trinity View Road, this crossing will now become a “PUFFIN” (Pedestrian User-Friendly Intelligent) Crossing, a form of traffic signal-controlled crossing.  Construction to implement this change will be carried out in due course.

A copy of the plan showing the location of the crossing may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours.
