Unique Christmas gift ideas, carols performed by local schoolchildren and a visit from well-known winter princesses will help everyone get into the festive spirit at the Wealth of Wiltshire Christmas Fayre in December.
The Wiltshire Council run event is taking place at County Hall Trowbridge on 1 December from 10am to 5pm, and has more than 30 local businesses attending selling a wide-range of Christmas gifts and novelties including cosmetics, stationery, glass gifts, crafts, millinery, toys and jewellery to name just a few.
School children from Winsley Primary, Studley Green and St John’s as well as the Wiltshire Council choir will be carol singing and there will be a range of family activities include gingerbread decorating, snowflake making and a Christmas wish tree.
There will also be visits from winter princesses to add some seasonal magic, rhyme time in the library, balloon modelling and a magic show.
The café at County Hall will be serving Christmas themed food and drinks.
Baroness Scott of Bybrook, OBE, Leader of Wiltshire Council, said: “This is our fifth Wealth of Wiltshire Christmas Fayre and I’m looking forward to another busy and fun packed day. This is a great opportunity to showcase and support local businesses and get into the Christmas spirit with entertainment for people of all ages. It’s the perfect place to Christmas shop in a lovely warm festive environment.”
