Stargazing with Andover Astronomical Society

Join us for an evening of Stargazing; expert insights and practical stargazing.
Professor Paul Curtis – Chairman of the Andover Astronomical Society and expert Astrologist joins once again for the return of our popular Stargazing event. Paul is an expert in his field and will begin with a fascinating lecture titled ‘From Earth to the Stars’ followed by a short overview of what you can expect to see in the sky on the night.
After the lecture we’ll be outside for practical stargazing with Andover Astronomical Society. Andover Astronomical Society will be providing their telescopes for public use, helping you view the magnificence above with the latest equipment.
Please note that practical stargazing is weather dependent we cannot guarantee clear skies.
If there weather is clear we will be outside with the telescopes until the event closed. However if we are unlucky and poor weather conditions do move in, the telescopes will be inside for attendees to examine and a Q&A session on practical tips.
