Volunteer needed to deliver informal Pay and Play Badminton sessions

Wiltshire Council are working in  partnership with Badminton England to develop a No Strings Badminton programme taking place in Tidoworth Leisure Centre and we are looking to identify a potential volunteer ‘No Strings Co-ordinator’ to deliver the informal Pay and Play Badminton sessions.

The No Strings Co-ordinator role includes duties such as: player meet and greet, taking registers, mixing up games/players, tips on game scoring/rules, and promoting the session.  You can also take part and get a free weekly session as well as a co-ordinator T-Shirt in return for your efforts.

The training for this role takes the form of a free online e-module, which when completed qualifies the candidate as a No Strings Co-ordinator.

If you are interested in becoming the No Strings Co-ordinator for Tidworth or would like some more information on the role please contact Becca Higgs, Sport Development Officer, Wiltshire Council on: : 07854 509219 or becca.higgs@wiltshire.gov.uk
