Wiltshire students have been congratulated and praised for their hard work and dedication as they pick up their GCSE results today.
Thousands of students from schools across the county are finding out their results marking the end of months of study.
Laura Mayes, cabinet member for children’s services at Wiltshire Council said: “Young people should be proud of all the excellent results they have achieved. I would like to offer my congratulations to all the young people who have gained their GCSE results today, there is much to celebrate.
“Young people have worked extremely hard throughout their studies to achieve these results. During this time they will have received guidance and support from their teachers, parents and carers. All involved should be enormously proud of their achievements.”

We are very proud of what our young people have achieved and would encourage them to continue their learning, either through a formal training programme or further study.”
